The Richard Fowler Show Democratic political strategist and image consultant Richard Fowler is a PAC director, syndicated columnist, a national advocate for youth and middle class families, and the National Policy and Advocacy Director for the Young Democrats America.
Richard believes that every American should be able to live the American Dream afforded to his family. Coming from humble beginnings, Richard was raised by an immigrant single mother who worked as registered nurse. She instilled in him a belief in God and helping others. These principals from mother passed to son inspired Richard a passion for helping people improve their lives.
<p>A native of Fort Lauderdale, Richard got his first taste of politics at a young age when he went with his mother into the voting booth to pull the lever for Bill Clinton for President. After that auspicious start, Richard began his involvement in politics. As a young man he volunteered on numerous local races in Florida, including former Attorney General Janet Reno’s gubernatorial campaign.</p>
<p>Richard later was instrumental in registering and organizing over a thousand youth voters in Florida in 2004 for the NAACP. Later, in 2008 he worked as a campaign manager in Washington, DC.</p>
<p>Richard is the founder and director of FAR CONSTRUCTS LLC an image and messaging firm where he has advised youth, minority and female candidates. He helped elect the youngest member of the Kansas City, Missouri City Council and he has been a featured speaker at National Council of La Raza’s National Conference, College Democrats of America, the Young Democrat of America and various colleges and universities. He has trained close 1000 young people about the importance of image and messaging in the political arena.</p>
<p>In addition to being the Contributing Political Editor for TweetTheStreet.com, he is also a weekly political contributor for “Battleline with Alan Nathan.”</p>
<p>Outside of his work in media, Richard is the co-founder and director of PHOENIX FREEDOM PAC, a transportation solutions political action committee. He is also the former executive director of the Virginia Young Democrats Annual Conference, a member of the Young Professionals in Transportation and a Fellow at the Center for Progressive Leadership.</p>
<p>As a democratic strategist, Richard has been featured on Fox News Channel, MSNBC and Aljazeera English and various syndicated radio programs all across the nations. Richard is based in Alexandria, Virginia.</p>
<p>Richard earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs from the George Washington University.</p>
